Martin worked for Nebraska Beef in Omaha, Nebraska for 23 years handling maintenance and working in the hides department.
Martin is preceded in death by his parents Manuel Hernandez and Conception Cazares; sister Blanca; and brother Jaime.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Angela Hernandez; son Adan Hernandez; step-children Johnny, Kelly, Tino, Geri, and B.J.; brothers Marcelo Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, and Carlos Hernandez; sisters Maria Hernandez, Irene Hernandez, Josephine Hernandez, Trinadad Hernandez, and Esperanza Hernandez; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and nephews Hernan, Marcelino Jr., Nancy, and Giovanni Hernandez; and his prized companions Chico and Reyna.
