She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Anne Nemecek, husband Robert S. Mixan, and sister Helen Hazuka.
She is survived by her children Judy (Don) Drakulich and Jerry (Pat) Mixan; grandchildren Dan (Kelley) Drakulich, Dr. Desinee Drakulich, Kari (Doug) Wright, and Matthew (Kim) Mixan; great-grandchildren Madeline and Kenzie Wright, and Caleb and Nathan Mixan.
