Mary Ann Ness

Mary Ann Ness was born on December 29, 1946 to Thomas and Viola(Eilts) Crelly in Mitchell, SD. She grew up and received her education at Notre Dame High School, graduating class of1964.

Upon graduation, Mary attended Presentation College. She then began working in medical records in St Joseph Hospital in Mitchell, SD. Mary went on to work in various fields, with her main focus being raising her family. Mary also spent a significant amount of time volunteering with many organizations. One of her favorite things to do was to rock babies in the NICU at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Her hobbies included shopping, walking, riding motorcycles with her husband and traveling.  Her most recent travel was a bucket list item, visiting Ireland. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Shelly Hoyt, Papillion, NE, Eric Ness and his wife, Vicky, Omaha, NE, Angie Froehlich and her husband, Rory, La Vista, NE and Darin Ness and his fiance, Angie, North Branch, MN; grandchildren Tara, RJ, Alex, Rex, Elsie and Cullen; brother Tim, Mitchell, SD.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Ness, her son, Dan Hoyt, her parents Tom and Vi Crelly, sister Judy Krietlow and brother Tom Crelly.
