Mary Ellen (Cole) Wisniski

October 10, 1941 – January 18, 2025

Mary Ellen Wisniski passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 18, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Leona Cole, and her daughter, Kimberly Witherspoon.

Mary Ellen dedicated her life to providing love and support to her family and friends. A devoted mother, she raised seven children with unwavering care and took immense pride in being a grandmother to seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Her faith and resilience were guiding lights throughout her life, shaping the enduring legacy she leaves behind.

She is survived by her children: Mary Hiatt, Michelle Johnson, Tracy Wisniski, Scott Wisniski, Cory Wisniski, and Darren Wisniski; her daughter-in-law, Mary Wisniski; and her beloved grandchildren: Crystal Witherspoon, Jimmy Witherspoon, Hope Witherspoon, Colton Johnson, Serena Johnson, Jack Wisniski, and Maddy Wisniski; sisters: Sharon Hoffman and Dee Sledge. Mary Ellen is also survived by her former husband, Frank Wisniski, to whom she remained close with throughout her life.

Mary Ellen’s life was a testament to selflessness and courage. Her memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration to those who loved her. May she rest in eternal peace surrounded by God’s love.
