Matthew Robert Carlson

Matt worked at Shamrock Ready Mix as a driver for 20+ years where he trained many drivers and made many friends. He had a very strong work ethic.

Matt enjoyed spending his weekends camping at Riverview with family and friends. He loved being on the pontoon drifting down the river.  Sitting around the campfire drinking, reminiscing, listening to his “fantastic” music choices so that the whole campground could hear it til wee hours in the morning!

Matt had a love for all animals, especially his dogs Lady, Hank, Molly and his camping buddy Roxy.

Matthew was preceded in death by his parents Joel and Karen Carlson; brother in-law Eric Hummer; and friend Russ Armstrong.

He is survived by spouse Becky Ptacek (children Crystal Ptacek and Taylor Ptacek) brothers  Donnie (Kari) Carlson, Michael (Jen) Carlson; sisters Beverly Carlson, Laura Carlson; many nieces, nephews, family and friends and special companion Roxy.
