age 76, September 29, 2010 Max was born in Des Arc, AR in 1934. In 1951, he graduated from Omaha South High School and later served in the US Army. In 1953, he married Shirley Mudra and together they had 4 children. Max worked for Rybin Plumbing and Heating for over 40 years, eventually becoming a partner in 1989 and he retired in 1994. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Max was a very active member of Zion Lutheran Church until its closing. He, then became an active member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church. Max enjoyed many activities including camping, fishing, woodworking, bible study, and most recently oil painting. Preceded in death by son Marc Brian Survived by wife of 57 years Shirley (Mudra) daughters Suzanne (Kevin) Wilke Shelley (Mark) Billingsley son Mitch (Colleen Kenney) Johnson grandchildren Shane and Sarah Mae Billingsley, Lyssa (Andrew) VanWyk, Ashley Wilke, Clint (Meghan) Wilke great grandchildren Layla Wilke-Conant, Mycah and Judah VanWyk,Boaz Glanowski sisters Paula Beck of Mesa, AZ and Tama Johnson of Council Bluffs, IA brother Randol Johnson of Omaha brothers-in-law Emil (Mary) Mudra, Rudy (Carol) Mudra, Darrell (Jean) Mudra sisters-in-law Mary Lou Blair, Kathleen (Deane) Johnson many nieces, nephews and cousins Memorials requested to Lamb of God Lutheran Church.
