age 74 years, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska. Merle retired from OPPD Papillion Center as a Linecrew Foreman on November 1, 1999 after 35 years of service. Former City of La Vista Councilman. Preceded in death by son Eric; parents Willis and Mildred; brothers Kenneth and Eugene; sister Marjorie Seffron Survived by wife Pat; daughters Tammi (Steve) Schreck and Vicki (Jon) Zellars; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers Melvin (Shirley), Don (Bernice), Roger (Judy) Carstens; sister Deloris (Bob) Wiese. Visitation Friday, January 13th, 5:007:00 p.m. with Prayer Service 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Service Saturday, January 14th, 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church (702 Main StreetPlattsmouth, Nebraska). Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park - Omaha, Nebraska.
