Mildred L. Evers

June 3, 1922 — August 9, 2020

Mildred Lucille Evers passed away on August 9, 2020 at the age of 98 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John, an infant son, John III, and a brother Henry Booze. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Carol and Joseph McPheeters of Littleton, CO; Patricia and Daniel Danielson of South Sioux City, NE; son and daughter-in-law Lonnie and Candace Evers of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren, Heidi, Tracey, Scott, Alicia, Andrea, and Jennifer, and eight great grandchildren, Emily, Jack, Amy, Camille, Kassidy, Drew, Lisette, and Sonya Millie. She is also survived by sisters and brother-in-law JoAnn and Robert Hughes of Springfield, NE; and Rudy and Judy Evers of Lincoln, NE.

Mildred was born on June 2, 1922 in Springfield, NE. She married John on September 9, 1942 in Roswell, New Mexico. She retired from Ralston Public Schools after 40 years.

Mildred thoroughly enjoyed family get-togethers over the years and loved to travel with John to Europe and Hawaii. She was an avid reader and looked forward to going out to eat with her many friends. She loved receiving pictures of her children and great grandchildren. Being a Christian person, she had a positive outlook on life and never spoke ill of anyone.
