Patricia Ruth (Woodward) Levene was born on September 20, 1946 to Woodrow Wilson and Dorothy Lucille (Eyestone) Woodward in Burbank, California.
At the time she had an older brother Weldon Ray Woodward. When Pat was six months old the family moved to Lincoln, Nebraska. Her father, who was raised in California, wanted to raise his children in Nebraska; that is where her mother was raised. When Pat was 5 years and 364 days old her sister Margaret was born in Seward, Nebraska. The family lived on a farm outside of Seward. The house had electricity for lights but no running water or heat.
Pat and Weldon attended country school. When she was in third grade the family moved back to Lincoln. Pat and Weldon again attended country school until she was in fifth grade. When Pat was in eighth grade they moved to northeast Lincoln and she graduated from Lincoln Northeast HS in June 1964.
On June 9, 1964, she began working for Miller and Paine Department Store where she met her future husband, Alphe Charles Levene. They were married on August 24, 1968. Their first daughter Vicki Lynn Levene was born on November 14, 1971. Then on November 21, 1975, Lisa Marie Levene was born.
Pat loved doing crossword puzzles, spending time with her grandson, and attending Bible study classes. She volunteered as a school crossing guard, Sunday School, Bible School, as a church deacon, nursery care, teammate, and Flamingos for Hope Cancer Support.
