Paul is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Loretta Erhart; brothers Bill, George, Maurice, Marion, and John Erhart; and sisters Rosemary Peitzmeier, Dolores Erhart, and Madeline Erhart.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carolyn "Lyn" Erhart; children Mark (Jenni) Erhart, Leigh Ann (Jim) Amerine, Mike (Kathe) Erhart, and Paula (Steve) Poppe; grandchildren Brady Erhart, Kelsey Erhart, Jaime Amerine, Jake (Lindsey) Amerine, Joey (James) Davis, Paul "Brooks" (Lea Miller) Erhart, Madalyn Erhart, Carsyn Poppe, Logan Poppe, Jack Poppe, Sarah (Johnny) Sanderson, and Jacob (Lanie) Shimerdla; great – grandchildren Adelyn Davis, Elena Davis, Marian Davis, Rosalie Davis, and Harvey Shimerdla; and many nieces, nephews, and other family.
