Paul is a South Omaha native. He was baptized at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and as a child was a parishioner of and attended school at St. Bridget. He eventually settled as a parishioner at St Mary's in South Omaha.
Paul attended South High School, graduating in 1959. He began working at Phillips Department Store as a meat cutter in the grocery department and would continue this skill for over 30 years. The store was a very special place for him.
He married Mary Kay in June 1961 and from this marriage they had two children; Ray and Lori.
He is survived by his children Ray Macias and Lori (Tony) Lara; 2 grandchildren Nichole and Christopher; 3 great-grandchildren Maddie, Drew, and Maggie; sisters Rita (Mark) Hall and Josie (Ray) Kuchcinski; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and 14 Godchildren.
Paul is rejoining in heaven his parents Paul Sr. and Mary (Zaragosa) Macias; sister Connie; and brother Ernie.
