Penny Lynn Selders

Penny Selders, 65, of LaVista, NE, passed away in Omaha, NE on November 14, 2023. Visitation will be Friday, November 17th from 5 PM - 8 PM at Bethany Funeral Home in LaVista, NE. Services will be at noon on November 18th, 2023. Burial will be immediately following the service at Papillion Cemetery on 84th and Giles.

Mrs. Selders was born in Red Oak, IA in 1958. The family moved to LaVista in the early 60s and were one of the first on Lillian Avenue. She married Kevin Selders on November 22, 1986, in Bellevue, NE. She retired from the Papillion-LaVista School District after a 21-year career in 2020.

She was survived by her husband Kevin Selders of LaVista, NE, James Selders of Lincoln, NE, and Tylor and Nicole Schmidt (Selders) of Omaha, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence "Wayne" and Marybelle McClain.
