age 87, La Vista, NE.Born in Santiago, Chile. He served in the Army Air Corps in WWII as a bombardier, and completed a decorated Army career, serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a Legion of Merit recipient among other honors and served as President of the Heartland Chapter of Retired Officers Association (now MOAA) several times. He was active in the community as a Toastmaster, in Bellevue Little Theatre and as a poll worker in Sarpy County. He married Eileen Y.
