Dick is preceded in death by his parents Emil and Genevieve (Piechocinski) Zpevak.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Suzanne Zpevak; children Vickie (Tom) Latier, John McManis, Jean (Jim) Kolbo, Joel McManis, Donna Moritz, Jason McManis, and Jennifer McManis; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters Lorraine (Joe) Vacanti, Kathleen Zoucha, and Carol Loftus; brother-in-law Sam Sorensen; and nieces, nephews, and other family.
