Rita A. (Troshynski) Rome was born on Thursday, November 29, 1928, in Atkinson, Nebraska. She passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 in Papillion, Nebraska, at the age of 94 years.
Rita was preceded in death by parents, August and Elizabeth Troshynski; loving husband Edwin; 6 brothers and sisters-in-law; 1 sister; 2 brothers-in-law; a grandson; a step-granddaughter; and a step-great-grandson.
She is survived by her sister Lois Gutchewsky; children Tom (Diana), Michele (Frank) Foley, John (Cheri), Steve, Mary Jo, Mike (Julie), Jim (Kim), and Mark (Denise); 17 grand and step-grandchildren; 31 great and step-great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
