Robert was born to Vollie and Agnes Frans on April 18, 1932. Preceded in death by his parents; brother David Frans; and grandson Ryan Watson. Robert was welcomed home on December 12, 2014.Survived by his beloved wife of over 60 years, Evelyn (Drvol) Frans. Together they raised 9 children: Jeffery (Colleen) Frans, Lorene (Gary) Watson, Bradley Frans, Brian (Debbie) Frans, Mark (Geri) Frans, Keith Frans, Todd (Colleen) Frans, Valerie Frans, Eric (Stephanie) Frans. They were blessed with 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Robert was a retired Omaha Firefighter, served in the U.S. Navy stationed in Guam, and a member of the National Guard. Visitation Monday, December 15th, after 5:00 p.m. with Vigil Service 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Tuesday, December 16th, 8:50 a.m. Bethany Funeral Home Chapel to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church (41st"J" St) at 9:30 a.m. for Mass of Christian Burial. Interment St. John Cemetery.
