He was born December 6, 1933 in Stevens, South Dakota to parents Charles and Bessie (Olson) Green. Robert served honorably in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie; son Robert Jr.; father and mother Charles and Bessie; 8 siblings; and great granddaughter Arabella.Survivors include son Duane; daughter Cynthia; grandchildren and caregivers Trisha and Paul; grandchildren Michelle and husband Ray, Rusty and wife Rachel, Teri and partner Brody, and Shayna; great grandchildren Adia, Kylee, Jordin, Kaitlyn, Chayce, Gunner, and ShayLeah; brother Earl; and great grandson Damon Visitation at Concordia Lutheran Church (2000 Military Rd. Sioux City, IA) Saturday, September 10th, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Memorial Service 11:00 a.m. all at the church.
