Robert L. Rasmussen

Robert Louis Rasmussen was born September 25, 1964, to Lawrence and Jeannette Rasmussen. The fifth child of eleven, he tragically passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024, while innocently enjoying, unknown to him, what would be his final ride in life with us.

Bob attended Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School. He then attended and graduated from Paul VI High School in 1982, where he lettered on the wrestling team all four years.

Bob was an extremely hard-working man while starting at a young age working for his parents' business, Fund Ways. After graduation, he worked for ASC and Westendorf Whirlpool long hard hours fabricating whirlpool spas.

On February 14, 1987, Bob and his girlfriend, Cindy Kleffman, were married and shortly thereafter purchased their first home. Soon Bob became the proud father of Robert and then Andrew.

After five years of marriage, the winds of time took Bob and Cindy in different directions in life, but his sons were still the bright light in his life. His life was blessed when Robert gave him his first granddaughter, Payton, to hold in his arms. Soon, he received his second granddaughter, Jordyn. He was a very proud grandpa!

Bob had many struggles throughout life, as we all have, but did his best to overcome them. He found comfort with his longtime companion, Yvette, and was enjoying life as best he could. He was a good man and a loving father and grandfather. We will all miss him dearly and hope he finds peace and comfort in God’s loving arms.

Robert was preceded in death by his father Lawrence.

He is survived by his sons Robert and Andrew Rasmussen; granddaughters Payton and Jordyn Rasmussen; mother Jeannette Rasmussen; brothers Larry (Marti), Tom (Kitty), Rich (Gwen), Dan (Bonnie), John, Jim (Tara), and Bill Rasmussen; sisters Cathy (Joe) Logsdon, Patty (Bob) Hale, and Mary (Pat) Dills; companion in life Yvette Flott; and many nieces and nephews.
