Bob graduated from high school in Webster, SD and attended college at Northern State Teachers College in Aberdeen, SD.He began his military career when he enlisted in the SD National Guard in 1948.He served in numerous roles within the National Guard and the United States Army as a Captain.He proudly served his country until his retirement as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserves on February 26, 1991.
Bob enjoyed his family, travel, trains, and animals.He happily traveled throughout the U.S. during his life with Darletta and throughout Europe with his family while stationed in Mannheim, Germany.
Bob was a loving, kind and generous father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
Burial to take place at a later date.With full Military Honor at the Omaha National Cemetery.
