She was born to Albert and Lorene (Rinke) Hanson on March 25, 1947 in Genoa, NE.
Roberta was a devoted wife and mother who loved to be outside and enjoy the sunshine. In addition to raising her five children she ran an in-home daycare for 20 years and took in both foster children and foreign exchange students.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing games with her grandkids, both in person and online. She traveled with her husband, Jim, for 17 years, seeing many parts of America.
Roberta was preceded in death by her parents and brothers David and Darryl Hanson.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years; sons Shawn (Cindy) Sutton of Bennington, Mark Sutton of Omaha, and Jared Sutton of Sedalia, MO; daughters Kristen (Dave) Diaz of Bennington, and Heather (Waco) Riblett of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren Benjamin and Joseph Sutton, Joselyn and Elijah Diaz, and Ryan, Tyler, and Joshua Riblett; numerous additional family and friends.
