Ronald E. Ostblom

May 25, 1938 — February 28, 2014

Preceded in death by parents John "Swede" and Margaret Ostblom; his first wife Joyce Ostblom (February 28, 1990). Survived by wife Ellen Boyer; sons Joe (Barb), Tom (Fred); daughters Linda Huston (Dave), Mary Oldham (Jim); step-sons Barry Roberts (Diane), Patrick Roberts; step-daughter Jenny Folmer (Joe); 9 grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren; brother Dave Ostblom (Shirley); sister Rita Weis (Ron); many nieces, nephews, and friends. Per Ron's wishes, his body was donated for medical research. The family will receive friends at St. Bernadette Catholic Church (7600 S. 42nd St) Saturday, March 8th, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Memorials will be directed by the family.
