Growing up, Roni already knew her future husband Charles (Chuck) Cunningham as his family lived right next door to Roni's grandparents.In early 1980, Chuck finally mustered up the courage to ask Roni to a movie at the Skyview drive-in theater where they watched the 1969 movie Downhill Racer on their first date.The couple made it official a few months later, October 17th, 1980.Their five children; Lou, Joe, Jeff, Dan and Alyssa, fulfilled their dreams of family life.
Roni loved raising children, so much so she opened her own in-home daycare more than 40 years ago.She adored every one of her own children, as well as those she watched grow up in her care.Aside from childcare, Roni enjoyed ceramics, crafting, baking, shopping, chatting with friend and collecting Boyd bears and Ty Beanie Babies.She was a beautiful singer and always looked forward family gatherings for the holidays.Roni was also survived by her four wonderful grandchildren whom she loved dearly; Leo, Iris & Ruby Cunningham and Weston Jones.
