age 81, of Rumson, NJ Born in Omaha, passed away on Wednesday, October 29 at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. Rose lived in Omaha until moving with her husband, Leonard to New Jersey in 1999. Preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, Rose lived with her daughter and son-in-law in Rumson, NJ. Rose was an active member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church for many years before leaving the area, and well known by many at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in South Omaha. survived by daughter Deborah Madey and son-in-law Tom Stephens granddaughter Jennifer Stephens brothers George Kurmel, Charles (Shirley) Kurmel both of Omaha, Ed Kurmel - Colorado Springs, CO John (Marge) Kurmel - Tacoma, WA several nieces and nephews across many states. Interment St. Johns Cemetery. For those who desire, a memorial fund has been created with American Heart Association http://honor.americanheart.org/goto/RoseMadey.
