Sandra J. Cox

Sandra (Sandee) Cox, age 83, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025. Born and raised in Omaha, Sandee spent her life surrounded by the people and places she loved most.
Sandee was a woman of warmth and grace who had a remarkable gift for making others feel seen and heard. She had a passion for arranging flowers—a talent that reflected her love for beauty and detail—and she cherished long conversations with family and friends. Her ability to form deep and lasting friendships was one of her most treasured qualities.
Family meant everything to Sandee. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her loving daughter Sheri Nollett; grandchildren Nichole Hook (Adam Hook), Amanda Fidler (Brandon Fidler), and Cory Nollett (Samantha Nollett); and great-grandchildren Hailey Fidler, Logan Fidler, Colten Hook, Alaina Hook, Rosalie Nollett, and Bennett Nollett. Each of them carries forward her legacy of kindness and unconditional love.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Paul Eugene (Gene) Cox; sons James (Sparky) Cox and David Cox; and her parents Julia and Peter Borovac.
Sandee’s amazing personality lit up every room she entered. She listened with compassion, loved without condition, and brought joy to all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
A celebration of Sandee’s life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared as soon as they are available.
She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
