She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years Jack and her children; Traci Brown (Andy Horn), Travis Brown (Kelly Drake), Tedi Parkinson (Michael), John Butler and Dodd Butler
Grandchildren; Frankie, Javen, Kiley, Aubri and Taylor; Great-Grandchild Evan
Shar was a devoted Grammy, mother, wife, daughter, friend, teacher and Husker fan. Though she thought of her friends as family. She truly loved altruism and was generous with her time in order to make others lives better.
She volunteered at Immanuel Trinity, Midlands and the American Red Cross.
She was beautiful inside and out and so much fun to be around.
She took joy from the simple pleasure of spending time with her family and friends. If you happened to be at Maria's, well that was a bonus.
She had a beautiful singing voice and truly loved to use it for her devotion to Christ and her Trinity Lutheran family.
She loved her former students and Parkview Heights family.
Myeloma took her too soon but our lives are a lot brighter because she was our light and warmth.
