age 93 of Omaha He was ordained to the priesthood in 1939 at Senj, Croatia. He then served for four years as supervisor of a boarding school for Catholic boys at Senj. From 1943 to 1945, he was assistant Pastor of Assumption Cathedral in Senj. He emigrated to Rome, Italy in 1945. From October of 1945 until 1947, he served as representative of the Papal Assistance for Croatians Program in Trieste. In 1947, he came to Omaha, Nebraska through the efforts of Msgr. John J. Juricek. He served the Sts. Peter & Paul Parish from 1947-1951, the St. Philomena Parish from 1951-1954, St. Francis of Assisi from 1954-1956, St. Marys Parish from 1956-1957, and St. Stanislaus Parish from 1957 - 1959, all in Omaha, NE. He then served St. Patricks Parish of Clyde & Dublin from 1959-1966. He was Pastor of St. Francis Cabrini Parish of Omaha from 1966 - 1968 and St. Charles Parish of North Bend from 1968 until his retirement in 1986. After Fr. Golik retired he was in residence at St. Thomas More Parish from 1987 to 2001. While serving at St. Patricks of Clyde & Dublin, he taught at Archbishop Bergan Jr. - Sr. High School in Fremont for 6 ?� years. He is an honorary life member of the Omaha Knights of Columbus Council #10184. A member of the Croatian Cultural Society of Omaha, as well as several other Croatian Organizations. Fr. Golik is survived by two brothers and their families in Croatia. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Croatia and in the United States. Interment Glendale Cemetery - Des Moines, IA.
