age 89, February 10, 2010, of Omaha Passed away at the Douglas County Medical Center. Stanley was born January 1, 1921 in Havre, MT and later moved with his family to Salem, MA during the early 1920s. He was an ardent sports enthusiast and excelled on the Salem High School football team which became undefeated. He joined the US Marine Corps during WWII in August 1942. As a member of the Second Marine Division he was a POW in Saipan Mariana Island and suffered shrapnel wounds to his arm, back and leg. He was honorably discharged in February 1945. Stanley is a recipient of and a lifetime member of the Purple Heart, VFW, and American Legion. A proud American and proud US Marine to the end. Preceded in death by wife Beatrice; parents John and Frances Jaworski; brothers Henry, Theodore ???Teddy???, and Albert ???Ray???; sisters Alice Morin, and Madeline Kotkowski - all of Massachusetts. Survived by son Polka Paul Pelletier/Mr. HyVee - Omaha daughters Pauline Sullivan and Claire McDonald - both of Salem, MA numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren loving brothers Louis and Robert ???Bobby??? and sister Jane - all of Salem, MA Interment St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery. Military Honors provided by American Legion Post 374 and V.F.W. Post 8334 Honor Guard.
