Stella was third oldest of 13 children and spent all of her years in Omaha, attending Sts. Peter and Paul Grade School and South High School. Graduating from high school at barely 17 she worked as a secretary and bookkeeper at Kish Furs where she met her husband of 63 years. She later worked at Cudahy and Armour Packing Companies as a secretary and finished her working away from home years at Chiles Heider Investment and Brokerage. She was a life-long member of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, a charter member of the Croatian Culture Society and a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union, the one-time Croatian Catholic Union, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 1. Preceded in death by husband William J. Sheehan parents Blaz and Rose (Gradicek) Cupich; sisters Mary Kresnik, Eva Udovic,Catherine Pacholski, Jane Brachhold, Sr. Mary Blaise Cupich, RSM; brothers Blase, John, Stephen and Matthew Cupich; grandson David Sheehan. Survived by children Joan, William J. - Cocoa Beach, FL, Ron (Bridget) Sheehan - LaVista grandchildren Ron (Barbara) - Trophy Club, TX, Lori (Richard) Riggs - Omaha, Allison Sheehan - LaVista, William J. (Christina) - Cocoa Beach, FL, Jennifer (Brant) Gabriel - Orlando, FL 7 great-grandchildren sisters Rose Daniels, Ann Wilson; brother Joseph Cupich sister-in-law Rosemary Lang - Bellevue numerous nieces, nephews, and longtime friends Bishop Blase Cupich, Celebrant.
