Married to Louis F. Hauschild Jr. for sixty-six years till his passing in 2009, she bore two children Michael L. Hauschild and Peggy Hauschild-Hesse and left a grandchild Louis Hesse.
Thelma was preceded in death by ten siblings, Leland Snell, John Snell, Merrill Snell, George Snell (Four Kings), Marge Metzger, Harriet Stephen, Jenny Smith (Thelma was the Fourth Queen), and three younger brothers, Albert Snell, Stanley Snell, and Laurence Snell.Six brothers were distinguished by wartime military service, as was one sister.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Judy, Janice, Dan (Leland), Lorraine, Russel (John), Randy (George), Carol (Merrill), Barb (her favorite), Rex (Marge), Linda, Marjorie (Harriet), Juanita, Dennis, Joni, Catherine, Boyd, Roger (Jenny), Jim , Maggie (Albert), Gary, Beverly, Richard, (Stanley), Kim, Denise, Darcy, Kerry, Kevin and Kurt (Larry).Several nieces and nephews preceded her in her passing Rob (Harriet), Llyod (Jen), Ronald (Stanley).
She was a good woman, who lived a good Christian life, and was rewarded with a peaceful and merciful final chapter.She taught Sunday School and Bible School for several decades, she was the towns first librarian, a voluntary position, and was in business in Papillion with her husband and son for over half a century.
