Vera was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Bessie Kratina; her loving husband, John; sisters Mary Rischling, Elizabeth Rischling, Mildred Fritz, Emilye Schwan, Alyce Fritz, Olga Pesek, and Anne Thompson; brothers John Kratina, and Ad Kratina.

She is survived by her sons Jim (Kim) and Kerry (Patty); grandchildren Doug Rezek and Laura Hughes; great-grandchildren Jacob and Abby.
