age 77 years, of Papillion, Nebraska. Verna passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 15, 2017, at her home. In accordance with Vernas wishes, she was cremated and there will be no visitation or church service. A private family graveside service will be held Monday, March 20th, in St. Marks Lutheran Cemetery in Pender, Nebraska. A luncheon for family and friends will be held at 11:30 a.m. at St. Marks Church in Pender, Nebraska. Verna was born October 30, 1939, in Pender, Nebraska, the daughter of the late Earl and Edna (Asmussen) Case. She was raised in Pender, Nebraska, She married Larry D. Lange on June 19, 1960, at St. Marks Lutheran Church in Pender. Left to cherish her memory include her children Gary and Mary, Gayle and Kelly, and Jodi; her grandchildren Megan and Kellan, Kelsey and Brooke; and great grandson Brecken; brothers Gene and Vicky Case and Roger and Cindy Case; many nieces and nephews; and Luna, her beloved cat. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Gary Lange for the family to donate to a charity at a later date.
