The family moved to a farm in the rural Dawson, NE area in 1942. They continued to reside in this locale. Dale married Margaret "Peggy" L. Kanaly on April 19, 1952 and two children, Debbie and Scott, were born to this union.
Dale served his country nobly in the US Navy and later worked over 30 years for AT&T as a machinist. He enjoyed spectator sports, woodworking, and time spent with family and friends.
The later years of Dale's life were spent at the VA Home in Bellevue, NE where he passed away peacefully at the age of 84 years.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ormal "Dean" Suchsland of Danville, VA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Peggy; daughter Debbie (Dave) Hernandez of Omaha; son Scott (Viola) Suchsland of Omaha; 5 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
