Virginia L. "Ginny" Jones
d. November 27, 2021
Pointe assisted living community on November 27th, 2021, the
day after her 72nd birthday.
Born to Raymond and Mildred Ryan, Virginia grew up in
Mahwah, NJ. She spent the majority of her career as a contract
specialist for the US Air Force. However, her true passions lay
with her family and home. Ginny spent her retirement caring
for her horses, dogs, and cats. She enjoyed spending time
outside where she would pick apples and blackberries, tend
to her farm, fish, and kayak, She was an avid baker and
enjoyed passing that love on to her grandchildren.
Ginny is preceded in death by her two sisters, Janet and Carol,
and her mother and father.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Jones; her children,
Melissa (Brian) Leaming of Port St. Lucie, FL, Andrew (Michele)
Ransom of Thornton, CO, and Christine Morrison of
Des Moines, IA; her eight grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild.
Ginny will be remembered as a kind, loving woman with
spunk that brought smiles where-ever she went. She will be
deeply missed.
