Trucking Company.Survived by wife Joyce; son Steve and fiancee Barb Eliker - Springfield; son and daughter-in-law Dave and Liz Cockerill - IN; grandchildren John, Katie, Nadine, Jennifer, Emily Cockerill; brothers Frank Cockerill - Gretna and Bob Cockerill - Bellevue; sister Nornella Stonebreaker - WA.Visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Springfield) Thursday, October 13th, after 5:00 p.m. with Vigil Service 7:30 p.m. at the church. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 14th, 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment Fairview Cemetery - Papillion, Nebraska. Military honors by Springfield American Legion. Memorials requested to the Springfield Fire Dept., Springfield Public Library, or the family's choice.
