Heaven's gain was our loss when our angel was called by our Lord. Yioy came into this world too soon and was taken too soon.
Yioy Both Reat Yioy Luak, infant son of Both Reat Yioy Luak and Nyakume Guk Riek, gained his angel wings, August 8, 2020. Yioy was a resilient warrior,laughed and smiled throughout his 11 month battle with Chronic Lung Disease and Pulmonary Hypertension. Yioy strength, joy and happiness touched and inspired everyone that cared for him. In addition to his parents, Yioyis survived by his Grandmothers; Nyadeng Rut, Nyantot Bangoang. Grandfather's; Guk Riek, Reat Yioy, Pastor James Kuajen. Auntie's; Nyagoa Tut, Nyabane Guk, Nyatip Rut, Nyandiit Reat Yioy, Nyariek Reat Yioy, and Nyapal Tot. Uncle's; Kan David, Gordon Kong Reat, Koang Riek, Lok Lok Thok, Taban Thok, Komach Deng, Gatwech Nyuot, and many other relatives and friends who loved "Baby Yioy" very much. Services will be held Saturday August 22, 2020 10:00 a.m., at Bethany Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bergan Mercy Medical Center NICU, Childrens Hospital NICU and Nationwide Childrens Hospital BPD unit for the great care we received while Yioy was a patient at these hospitals.
